Project Description

Riddell Road Renovation

This large family home underwent a full renovation. We worked closely with the builder and architect to create new layouts, created new rooms and moved old ones, designed new kitchen and bathrooms, new colour decors, finishes, flooring, wardrobes and window treatments.

From a house that didn’t function the way this family of four needed, it is now a perfectly tailored home.

As you walk in the front door you see a modern staircase. The matt powder-coated steel hand railing was custom made and designed for our clients, paired with the amazing timber flooring creating a modern and sophisticated style with an industrial edge.

In the laundry, we introduced some colour using a glass-look green subway tile for the splashback, a large built in sink with a hanging rail above, finishing with a charcoal engineered stone benchtop paired with white cabinetry to create a beautiful palette.

The kids’ bathroom downstairs has a large walk-in shower with matt black fittings, a frameless glass panel, and a larger scale of the glass-look tiles in grey to create cohesion. The vessel basin sits on top of charcoal engineered stone and an oak timber vanity, all highlighted by the round LED mirror.

At the top of the stairs, you will find the main bathroom. As this is the bathroom most guests would be using while entertaining, we introduced a dividing wall feature to give more privacy. To create the partition, we mirrored the style of the stair handrail with the matt black powder-coated steel fins. Again taking through the vessel basin, matt black fittings, charcoal engineered stone, oak timber, and LED round mirror. In this bathroom, we paired it with a concrete look textural 600x600mm tile.

For the master ensuite, we wanted to introduce a touch of luxury. We did so by designing a vanity with double basins and specifying a marble mosaic tile to cover some of the walls and pendant feature lighting. This elevated the bathroom and set it above the rest while keeping it within the same aesthetic.
