Our long-standing clients returned to us to reimagine their beloved Omaha beach house. Having worked together on several projects over many years, we understood both their lifestyle and the unique demands of a family-friendly coastal retreat. The result is a complete transformation — a tired holiday home renewed with a fresh roof, joinery, cladding and interiors, all designed to balance relaxed coastal living with enduring style and function.

Upstairs Addition and Kitchen Transformation
The original kitchen was small, pocketed away- difficult to use for the large gatherings that arrive every summer. We designed a substantial addition to the upstairs living area, which allowed us to create a larger, light-filled kitchen, living and dining space. The new design ensures effortless entertaining in the warmer months, while retaining a more intimate, cosy space for winter living.

Downstairs Reconfiguration for Family Living
The addition downstairs provided the opportunity to create a completely new bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and a clever storage cupboard with external access for beach gear. We also converted the original internal garage into a rumpus room, perfect for children and teenagers and added a new laundry with external access — a practical feature for a busy coastal household.

Exterior Renewal – Roof, Joinery and Cladding
Every detail of the house was renewed. We specified the new exterior finishes including roof, cladding, joinery and colours to ensure the home sits naturally within its coastal setting.

Complete Interior Specification and Finishes
Inside, we delivered a full interior specification, from flooring, lighting and wardrobes through to internal doors and hardware. The result is a seamless blend of fresh materials, natural textures, and thoughtful detailing, creating a home that is both timeless and practical.
