This new build in Central Otago was commissioned by an overseas-based New Zealand client seeking a full-service interior design solution for their dream home. From concept to completion, NM Design delivered a structured, seamless process—managing every stage so our client could enjoy the journey without the stress of distance.
Working in close collaboration with the architect and builder, we ensured every design decision complemented the home’s architectural integrity and met construction requirements. This integrated approach allowed us to align structure, function, and style, creating a space where every detail feels intentional.
Inspired by the natural beauty of Central Otago, our palette and material choices echo the surrounding landscape. Warm timbers, tactile fabrics, and layered textures create a harmonious flow between interior and exterior, fostering a deep connection to the home’s environment.
From bespoke furniture and carefully considered lighting to an art collection curated to enhance the architecture, every element was chosen with precision. Nicola has been fantastic to work with. I engaged her at the beginning of my dream home build project to do all the interior design including furniture selection and placement, all colours, kitchen and bathroom design, appliances etc. I could not be happier with the home.
