I had fun spending a couple of hours at the Gift Fair in Auckland looking for accessories and furniture for clients and to look at general trends.

The New Zealand Gift and Homeware Fairs are trade only shows where Interior Designers and Retailers can view and order the latest product lines in one place, at one time.

Hall after hall of exciting new furniture and accessory products are on display. It is great to look at the new trends and new products.

Metallic finishes, particularly copper, are very strong at the moment in both furniture and accessories.

It is also a great opportunity to meet with suppliers that I have an existing relationship with and to meet new potential suppliers.

I also take a shopping list along for items that I am looking for current clients and projects.
