Five Key Interior Design Trend Themes for 2016

Last week I travelled to Melbourne for the Decor and Design Trade Show, which featured both exhibitor stands and seminars.

It is always so inspiring to travel to a different city or particularly a different country, to see new product and to attend seminars with international speakers. It takes us outside our daily routine and provides a great source of ideas and inspiration.

The five themes Scarlet Opus have developed for 2016 are:

1. Privacy

2. Modern Nomad

3. Belo Rio

4. Natural Lux

5. Fantastical Nature

Each theme has a colour palette and key materials and finishes. In next my Blog over the next couple of weeks, I will explore the colour palettes and finishes in more detail for each theme and look at how we can use these in our interiors now and beyond.
