Ceilings – The Often Forgotten Tool

Generally, I am a strong advocate of light and fresh white (or a version of white) ceilings. Stud heights of the standard 2.4m, as a rule of thumb, should be painted a light colour. 2.7 metre high ceilings give you more options and higher than that give lots of scope for your imagination.

Why does a lower stud height reduce your ceiling colour and finish options?

One of the key benefits of clever interior design is to maximise the strengths of your interior spaces and reduce or camouflage the weaknesses. Most people prefer to have  a sense of spaciousness and light in their homes.
